Created in Belgium in 2011, Semaine du Son is a societal event that awakens our curiosity, amazement and expectations in the field of sound. More than a festival, the events – conferences, screenings, broadcasts, sound installations and concerts – are accompanied by a didactic and participatory aspect.
The event is part of an international movement, initiated by Christian Hugonnet in Paris, to raise public awareness of the importance of the quality of the sound environment in the development of individual and collective life.

The theme of the 15th Belgian edition is Sub Terra. It will take place in Brussels between January 26 and
February 2 and the following week, from February 3 to 9, 2025, in several locations in Flanders and Wallonia.
