The Syndicat des Audioprothésistes (SDA) is the professional body representing hearing aid practitioners in their dealings with national health authorities.

The Syndicat national des audioprothésistes (UNSAF) was born on April 1, 2011 from the merger of the three unions that made up UNSAF, the Union Nationale des Syndicats d’Audioprothésistes Français created in 1985.

In particular, it is involved with the UNPS, the French national union of healthcare professionals, and the Haut Conseil des professions paramédicales, on which the union has a seat.

UNSAF is also present at European level within the European Association of Audioprosthetists.

Every year, the Syndicat National des Audioprothésistes organizes the Congrès national des audioprothésistes français.

This international event is the largest trade show of its kind in France. The latest innovations in hearing aids and associated products are presented. The Congress is also an important step in the continuing education of hearing aid practitioners, with scientific presentations, conferences and practical workshops.
