The opening evening of the XXIInd UNESCO Sound Week, whose theme is "Sound and Politics", will feature a number of highlights punctuated by our two patrons, Erik Orsenna and Kendji Girac, both fervent defenders of the cause of sound.

The evening will kick off with speeches on all aspects of sound in France and internationally. This will be followed by musical performances by the Voix de Stras’ ensemble (based on a text by Erik Orsenna) and Kendji Girac, accompanied by his guitar and the Pasdeloup quartet. Opening speeches
– Opening by UNESCO’s Director General – Presentation of the Semaine du Son 2025 by Christian Hugonnet
President and founder of La Semaine du Son – UNESCO’s Semaine du Son on the international scene (Egypt, Brazil, Belgium, Canada, Equatorial Guinea, Tunisia) – Speech by Erik Orsenna, académicien and patron of the 22nd edition, followed by a musical performance accompanied by the Voix de Stras’ ensemble – Speech by Claudia Senik, director of the Observatoire du bien-être, professor at the Paris School of Economics – Speech by Kendji Girac, patron of the 22nd edition, followed by a concert accompanied by the Pasdeloup quartet
