La Semaine du Son now an official partner of UNESCO

La Semaine du Son is now recognized by UNESCO as an NGO (advocacy NGO) and official partner (consultative status).
As Alexandre Navarro, Secretary General of the French National Commission for UNESCO, wrote to us on September 12, 2024: “This partnership, which we had the pleasure of supporting with the Partnerships Division, testifies to the importance of your voice for UNESCO’s work and reflects UNESCO’s confidence in your organization for the societal challenges of sound.” This partnership is extremely selective, and La Semaine du Son is now one of 83 other UNESCO partner organizations in France.
Alexandre Navaroo adds: “The wealth of existing partnerships will be a source of inspiration for your future collaborations in the fields of education, culture, science and information.
