Sound moves in waves, and waves move with sound.
The second Sound Week in Edinburgh will take place in February 2025.
This year’s theme is Waves.
Two topics in particular will resonate through the Week’s concerts, workshops, lectures and events: the physicality of sound and the sounds of the oceans.
The physicality of sound will highlight ways of making sound waves visible, tangible, measurable and malleable. It will explore how sound has the power to move and shape; to make and unmake the world around us.
